Technical: Laying Random
Stone Matting
1.
Substrate must be rigid and suitable to hold
weight.
2.
Clean
horizontal or vertical surface.
3.
Water
proof surface with appropriate product if required.
4.
Prepare
tile adhesive mix.
5.
When using random stone matting
as water feature, ensure the adhesive is suitable
for immersion in water.
6. Use an off
white adhesive for lighter coloured panels
7. Apply
adhesive to substrate.
8. Firmly press
matting into position to fit as required.
9. Grout used can
be sand/cement through to epoxy grout.
10.
Sponge off
residue tile adhesive immediately.
11.
It is
recommended that natural stone is sealed with a penetrating sealant to
protect the stone surface.
General: Random Stone Matting is a quick and easy way to lay
vertical stone wall surfaces and horizontal stone floor
surfaces. The
matting can be laid over both concrete
and timber substrates, creating the
natural effects crazy

paths and walls.
